Levels affecting resource consumption?

Lately, I've been noticing some of my girls seem to expend their oil and ammo tremendously fast, like, they only have enough for like 4 battles or so, and I'm wondering if it might be because they have a higher level than before.(or it's just me imagining things)

I thought it might be that, because I was also trying to figure out why would someone want to "lock" their level.

Does anyone know something about this?

Usually, promoting them will actually let them go one node further as they get higher supply stats. That said, if they promote to Shou level, they change vehicles. Some of those vehicles do have HORRENDOUS supply use. Did you make note of which one it is?

Thanks for your reply.

After posting that, I decided I should test it instead of just "thinking something was odd", and it was not really hard since I had some units of the same class and model(Stug III) with vastly different levels.

It turned out their supply use was identical, so it was just me imagining things.

I guess it's just because the earlier levels usually don't go as long as the later (potentially) do, so it never became much of a concern until now.

Since we are at it, do you know if there is any reason one would ever use the function to lock a milihime's level? It just makes no sense to me.

If you're a die hard collector and want both the original and unpromoted version? Only other reason I can think of is if you need a certain class of vehicle for something and dont want the promotion to change their class type.

It can't be that, because the promotion doesn't happen unless you manually trigger it and pay its costs. The only other reason I see is if you want to prevent her leveling without the promotion(if you can't afford it ATM), but that would be achieved easily by simply not using her for some time.
